U.S. Crude Inventories Fell By 4.6 Million Barrels Last Week: EIA

U.S. oil stockpiles fell more than expected in the latest week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.

Crude inventories declined by 4.584 million barrels last week, compared with analyst expectations for a draw of 2.082 million barrels.

Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 2.853m barrels in the week against expectations for a build of 688,000 barrels, the EIA data showed.

Gasoline inventories fell by 719,000 barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a build of 1.606 million barrels.
